Author Biography

Katherine Bassford is a health writer and trainer with a degree in experimental psychology and a masters specializing in human resource management. In 2000, fed up with life as a corporate training consultant, she resigned and qualified as a personal trainer. For the next 12 years she worked as a fitness trainer and set up a business supplying blue-chip companies with articles on employee health and well-being. After obtaining a further diploma in cognitive hypnotherapy, she realised what she really wanted to do was move to the coast and write books. She now lives a few minutes walk from the sea and is working on a follow-up to her first health book, Oh Sugar!, and her first children s novel.
