It's time to put yourself first, indulge, detox, relax and find some inner calm. With stunning illustrations and tips on health and wellness, Destination Wellnesss will help you to start relaxing with a bit of armchair travel before you've even set off on your trip to a better you. Illustrations by Manhattan-based artist Wenjia Tang.
Author Biography
Kate Morgan is a freelance writer and editor who has worked on a number of guidebooks for Lonely Planet, as well as having written numerous feature stories for clients such as BBC Travel and Conde Nast Traveller. Her job has taken her on plenty of adventures across the globe over the years, including to Japan, Zimbabwe, Amsterdam, Russia, Phuket, India and around Australia. At times, Kate has had the gruelling task of receiving indulgent massages in luxury day spas, participated in Buddhist meditation in Japan, worked out the kinks in yoga sessions in India and sweated out the toxins in a Russian banya, all in the name of research. Kate was also the commissioning editor and contributor to Lonely Planet's Wellness Escapes book.
