Description
Ines de la Fressange embodies the iconic Parisienne, combining elegance and chic, effortlessly. With her fashion savvy and her inspired home interiors, Ines demonstrates an eye for the details that characterize the best in Gallic style, from wardrobe accessories to home furnishings. I n this new pocket volume - the perfect accompaniment to her best-selling book Parisian Chic and its new sequel The Secrets of Parisian Chic-Ines divulges her favorite addresses culled from years of exploring boutiques big and small. For personal style, she shops for classic staples in army-navy surplus stores or unearths handcrafted statement accessories from artisanal jewelers. She knows when to splurge on her beauty regime for a transformative spa treatment or how to score a bargain in the drugstore make-up aisle. A designer handbag is an investment with staying power, but for trendy items she opts for chain stores. For the home, Ines prefers an eclectic mix of vintage, curiosities, and travel mementos-her home features day beds stacked high with decorative mattress cushions and boldly framed fashion photographs. This book is the global resource for all things Parisienne.
