Meg Jones Wall reminds us that, by nature, we are perpetual Fools--forever growing, learning, changing, and evolving. She encourages us to earnestly dive into who we are by courageously embarking on the Fool's journey. Wall's clear and concise perceptions are without condescension. As she writes, 'new discoveries give us confidence.'" --Amber Highland, publisher of The Cartomancer Magazine -- "Reviews" "Finding the Fool is a beautiful book that drops you right into your tarot cards to experience them for yourself. Wall goes on to accessibly break down the astrology, numerology, and tarot theory for each card. She creates a warm, welcoming, info-packed resource for tarot learners at all levels. I absolutely loved this exploration, and this is one of my favorite tarot books I've read, maybe ever. Everyone reading or teaching tarot professionally needs this book." --Cassandra Snow, author of Queering the Tarot-- "Reviews" "Meg Jones Wall offers an all-levels guide to reading the tarot, a compendium of resources to help beginners and longtime practitioners alike conjure from the cards a deeper understanding of one's inner and outer worlds." --Michelle Hart, Electric Lit -- "Reviews" "Written from a queer perspective, this book from tarot reader Wall (Instagram's @3am.tarot) invites readers to look past the limitations and exclusions of previous Euro-centric, binary, hetero-normative interpretations of most decks and read tarot from one's own personal story. VERDICT: A primer that is also a deep dive, appropriate and inclusive for all persons at all levels of expertise, Wall's book is a likely candidate to join the canon of must-read guides for the serious student of the tarot." --Library Journal -- "Reviews" "Autostraddle columnist Wall debuts with an introspective introduction to tarot card reading, positioning it as a tool for self-discovery. Each entry includes guidance for reading the card and journal prompts to help readers better understand individual signs. Greer, author of Archetypal Tarot -- "Reviews" "A fresh voice, Meg Jones Wall has written seventy-eight meditative essays that inspire personal transformation. Meg's masterful prose for each card takes you on an experiential adventure where you can channel the essence of the cards while seeing how they apply to your life. With Finding the Fool, Meg Jones Wall has given us a true guide to the tarot. Drawing from her intimate familiarity with tarot, astrology, and numerology, Wall has managed to demystify the meanings of the cards while also respecting tarot's spiritual malleability. Knowledgeable without being dogmatic, she allows readers to form their own opinions and encourages them to make tarot their own and to integrate it into their lives in ways that work for them. Wall's gifts as both writer and teacher shine here in Finding the Fool--a much-needed addition to tarot literature." --Brittany Muller, author of The Contemplative Tarot -- "Reviews"
