Description
The creation of The Radiant Tarot deck was born from the author and artist's years of working with archetypal images, the universal symbolic language. Sentient animal and plant kingdoms animate the artwork, honouring and acknowledging the interconnectedness of all life. The art is inspired by "Gaia mind," where all creation's forms - animal, vegetable, mineral - affect our precious planet in life-supporting ways. The words of Rainer Maria Rilke 'the animal world? beholds the Open' invite us to understand this renowned poet's insistence that 'one must know animals, must feel how the birds fly, and know the gestures with which small flowers open in the morning.' William Blake speaks of 'animal forms of wisdom,' says that 'Nature is Imagination itself.' It is the creative energy of these master artists drawn from the natural world that inspire The Radiant Tarot. 'The Radiant Tarot lives up to its name, radiating color, and style, and warmth, and meaning. There is a beauty and simplicity to the images that at the same time yields clear and strong reading.' -Rachel Pollack, author of Seventy Eight Degrees of Wisdom

Reviews"I'm so in love with The Radiant Tarot. Eldridge's artwork is exquisite. Prof. Barnstone's guidebook to the cards is a treasure of a resource, not just for this deck, but will help add depth and breadth to your tarot knowledge in general. Every design element here lends the deck well to artists, writers, and creatives who use the tarot for inspiration. And the production quality is also impressive. It's rare to see such a sturdy and heavy keepsake box. The box opens like a book and inside it fits the guidebook plus the deck with a reminder: 'The search is for the inherent radiance in all things.'" --Benebell Wen, author of The Holistic Tarot "The Radiant Tarot book and deck set is a deceptively innocent deep dive into the creativity favored by Carl Jung and William Blake. The cards, featuring animals and plants, serve as a mythic and nature-based playground that evoke both one's personal history and imaginative possibilities. Experience the joy of 'unlearning' to let the cards free you from the habits of a lifetime to soar into unimagined realms." --Mary K. Greer, author of Tarot for Your Self "The Radiant Tarot presents a fantastical world where all forms of planetary life merge with rich archetypal messages. Hybrid Court Cards remind us how closely related we are with our animal nature, while the Major and Minor Arcana inspire the promise of harmonious outcomes when humans and nature work together. The art behind this deck is whimsical yet profound making it a meaningful deck for all ages and the supporting guidebook is filled with informative card descriptions, musings, and thoughtful practices for taking your readings a step further. This deck is a joy to divine with. I highly recommend it!"--Carrie Paris, creator of The Relative Tarot "The Radiant Tarot lives up to its name, radiating color, and style, and warmth, and meaning. There is a beauty and simplicity to the images that at the same time yields clear and strong reading." --Rachel Pollack, author of Seventy Eight Degrees of Wisdom
