Author Biography

Rick Pastoor is not your average productivity guru. He studied Information Sciences and launched his own software agency. After selling it in 2013, he joined the fast-growing start-up Blendle (backed by the New York Times and Axel Springer) as one of the first employees. As Head of Product at Blendle, Rick was responsible for the products the company launched as well as managing the large team of engineers and designers. Rick used his blog and newsletter as an outlet to share ideas about work and management. In 2017 he started putting that all together in a book, which he self-published in 2019, creating an overnight bestseller that continues to sell and sell. In 2020 he quit his job at the start-up to focus full time on building a community and products around GRIP. He lives in Amsterdam with his wife and two young kids.
