Author Biography

Marcus Sedgwick is an internationally award-winning author of novels for adults, teenagers, and younger children, of non-fiction, graphic novels, academic papers and even the odd picture book. Perhaps best known for Midwinterblood, which won the Printz Award, America's most notable prize for writing for young adults, alongside Revolver and The Ghosts of Heaven, both of which achieved Printz Honor status. He has taught creative writing for 15 years, at Arvon, Ty Newydd and elsewhere, and was for three years Author-in-Residence at Bath Spa University. He has written articles for numerous national newspapers and magazines, and currently lives in the south of France.
