Description
An empowering guide, helping kick-ass women to realise their true strength. 'As women, we've been told from an early age that we're weaker and need saving. Now we know better. We must learn how to use our strengths to our advantage, so that we can unleash the animalistic lioness in us all to protect and fight, tooth and nail, with our heads held high.' Fight Like a Girl is a practical and empowering guide, arming you with the knowledge and confidence needed to keep yourself safe. Encouraging us to value ourselves and our safety, martial arts and self-defence expert Della O'Sullivan gives tips and tricks on how to fight to protect our bodies, by bringing the same energy and strength that we would summon to protect a loved one or child. Covering everything from how to adopt the mindset of a survivor to finding the confidence to fight back, and with manoeuvres you'll feel safer having up your sleeve, it's the guide every woman should own.
