Author Biography

Hood is the author of six books, including Rio de Dios and Bombing Ploesti, both published by Red Hen Press. A graduate of UC Irvine's poetry program, he has also done work in American studies and photography. Awards include a Fulbright and pending grants with the National Endowment for the Humanities and the National Science Foundation.
