Author Biography

Carl W. Battle is an attorney and author of several books, including Legal Forms for Everyone, Sixth Edition, Smart Maneuvers: Taking Control of Your Career and Personal Success in the Information Age, and The Retirement Handbook: How to Maximize Your Assets and Protect Your Quality of Life. He lives in Sarasota, Florida. Andrea D. Small is a registered US patent attorney and division patent counsel at FMC Corporation, a global specialty chemical company. She has served as a patent examiner at the United States Patent and Trademark Office, and she is a contributing author for The Pocket Legal Companion to Patents. She is a guest lecturer on intellectual property and the Hatch-Waxman Act at Temple University. She lives in Collegeville, Pennsylvania, with her husband and four children.
