Author Biography
Burkhard Hess is Director of the Max Planck Institute Luxembourg for International, European and Regulatory Procedural Law and Chairman of the ILA Committee on the Protection of Privacy in Private International and Procedural Law. Xandra E Kramer is Professor of Private International Law at Utrecht University and combines this with a professorship European Civil Procedure at Erasmus University Rotterdam.
