Description
What is to prevent Al-Qa'ida from unleashing a nuclear 9/11 on the United States, or indeed any other target in the world? In an age of easy information technology and burgeoning black markets, how do you prevent a dedicated terrorist group - willing to die for their ideas - obtaining nuclear, biological, and chemical weaponry to wreck unimaginable slaughter? From a world-class expert who has served on the front lines in the fight against terrorist extremists, this book offers real and practical solutions to this nightmare problem. Schindler presents an informed, detailed assessment of our enemies and their capabilities, the past and present mistakes of strategy, viewpoints, and policy of US administration, and lays out a comprehensive covert strategy for defeating Al Qa'ida before they acquire weapons of mass destruction and use them. A necessary and required book for anyone concerned with global politics or affected by them.
