Description
Tertiary study is particularly challenging if you come from a different cultural and language background. This book provides the practical information overseas students need to find their feet quickly at university or college and shows how to develop key learning and research skills. The book includes advice on academic writing, exam preparation, time management, library skills, assessment strategies and using technology. The author takes into account the particular needs and questions of overseas students, drawing on her own experience with students of non-English speaking background. She also provides an overview of the Australian higher education system and learning culture.
