He has also coached at the US Naval Academy in Annapolis, St. Mary's College in Maryland, and the Chicago Yacht Club. Throughout his career, he coached two Olympians, 30 All-Americans, over 30 All Academic All-Americans, and one Sportsman of the Year winner. He lives with his wife and children in Half Moon Bay, California.
