Description
The author's journey through Rome is made to follow a sequence of biblical events and themes in works of art, starting with Genesis in the Sistine Chapel, through Incarnation (Pantheon), Crucifixion and Death (Catacombs), Resurrection (Michelangelo's Last Judgement for example).
