Author Biography
John Peacock was for many years senior costume designer for BBC Television in London. He has also worked as a fashion designer and as a lecturer in fashion history. Among his other books are 20th Century Fashion, 20th Century Jewelry, Costume 1066-1990s, Fashion Accessories, Men's Fashion and Chronicle of Western Costume, all published by Thames & Hudson.
