Description
This volume completes the project of publishing the correspondence of the great 19th-century novelist, Elizabeth Gaskell. The correspondents in this volume, from all periods of her life, include such figures as Florence Nightingale, Harriet Martineau, John Ruskin, D.G. Rossetti, George Smith, Eliza Fox and Louis Hachette. There are 270 letters altogether.
