Author Biography

Tracey Hawkins is the author of children's picture books, novels, nonfiction and adult nonfiction. She currently lives in the Australian Capital Territory. Before Tracey started writing for children in 2002, her early writing work was as a crime writing advisor, columnist and consultant. In 2012, Nancy Bentley: The First Australian Female Sailor was short-listed for the Speech Pathology Australia Book of the Year Awards and won the Australian Capital Territory Writing and Publishing Awards.
