Author Biography
Mary Richards is an award-winning art writer, illustrator, and publisher. She adapted and edited David Hockney's bestselling A History of Pictures for Children (Thames & Hudson), and is the author of The Modern Art Journal (Tate Publishing) and Splat: The Most Exciting Artists of All Time (Thames & Hudson). Mary was Publisher at the Hayward Gallery in London's Southbank Centre and Editor at Tate Publishing. Go Suga is a Japanese-Australian artist. With a background in graphic design, Go believes in learning by doing. He evolves his style by constantly painting, drawing, and trying out new techniques and new materials. Born in Hiroshima, Go now lives on Australia's Gold Coast and combines his native culture with the surf lifestyle of his adopted home.
