Description

Shifting away from the familiar and exclusive spatial focus, this volume explores the temporal structures and dynamics at stake in contemporary management and organization at the key nexuses of technology, power and politics. In doing so, the contributors reveal temporal phenomena in the processes of management and organization, such as: routines, growth and diminishment, histories and stories, intensities and places, visions, memories, strategic reviews, innovation, decay or recovery. This volume addresses practices, events, expectations and rhythms linked to the use of technologies in organisations. It analyses power through the lens of organization as time, politics as a process through which organisational activities are animated, glued together, broken up and re-arranged.
