Description

Hope Unshakeable Grandchild Loss is a biblically-based, workbook that helps a grandparent navigate his or her grief journey after the death of a grandchild. The workbook parallels the parents' edition of Hope Unshakeable in such a way that they can process together what they are learning. It gives grandparents a way to talk with their son/daughter about the feelings they are experiencing as they navigate the loss of their child. Each chapter includes a grandchild loss story written by other grandparents, a scripture with a short devotional, and a self-care article that highlights some of the aspects of grief. The middle chapter takes a pause from the stories and readings in order to give the grandparent a chance to share their own story of loss, empowering them to be able to confidently and coherently share with others. There are very few resources that are written specifcally to help grandparents process their grief. This can oftentimes cause them to feel alone and forgotten in their grief. It does not have to be this way. Hope Unshakeable Grandchild Loss helps them know that they are not alone! Together Hope Happens!
