Author Biography

Judy Lloyd was a certified addiction therapist with over twenty years experience in the field. Being employed as an in-patient therapist in a residential program in Farmington, NM and an out-patient therapist in a program in Eugene, OR she facilitated groups and worked with individuals. Previous to her employment she gained considerable experience in dealing with the grief process as two of her children struggled to live with Cystic Fibrosis, Her surviving son has experienced both bi-polar disorder and anxiety disorder and her husband has survived colon cancer and kidney disease. She has served in various capacities in in her church community including a four year mission with the church 12 step program. She currently resides with her husband and son in Boerne, TX. Her daughter and husband live close by and have seven children.
