Karla McLaren, M.Ed., is an award-winning author, social science researcher, educator, and founder/creator of an empathic and emotion-honoring approach to emotions called Dynamic Emotional Integration (R), She has taught at the University of San Francisco, Omega, Naropa University, Kripalu, and the Association for Humanistic Psychology. Karla lives in California with her husband, Tino Plank.
