"Nothing or no one will make me wear pink!" declares Plunkett the pig. But could there be one shade of pink that is perfect - for a boy or girl pig? And will Plunkett find true love, whatever his color?

Reviews"An extravaganza of thoughts about the colour pink, but given that the main characters are pigs it is also about being happy with the skin you are in. The language and illustrations are exuberant and full of rhyme. This is one of the first titles from the new Otter-Barry imprint and with Janetta Otter-Barry in the driving seat we are in for some wonderful titles. Really great for story times I am sure." -- Margaret Pemberton "What a coup for this newly established publishing house - a new book from this winning and vastly experienced mother/daughter team. It bears all their hallmarks; exuberant, playful language, humour, endearing illustrations and it is a joy to read aloud." * English 4 - 11 * "Whether you are five or fifty you are sure to enjoy reading this exhilarating and amusing story together." * Armadillo * "A great fun read by the duo Dunbars, wonderful, uplifting and meaningful." * DolphinBooks - the blog * "The ultimate message of this pacey, uplifting tale is to always be yourself and rejoice in your individuality. Created by a talented mother and daughter team, the exuberant full-page illustrations are a perfect accompaniment to the jolly rhythmic text, which bounds along and is great fun to read aloud. " * Book Trust * "Plunkett has been invited to a party by Priscilla - but he must wear pink. Never, he says. Riotous rhyming text sees Plunkett in all sorts of pink... and finally he discovers that there is one shade of pink that is just perfect. Happily, Priscilla agrees with Plunkett and the two pigs fly happily away... all in pink! Just be yourself, and all will be perfect, is the theme of this entertaining story." * Parents in Touch * "An exuberant celebration of individuality and the importance of being yourself." -- Fiona Noble * The Bookseller * "Altogether a bravura performance by mother and daughter. One gets the impression that both Joyce and Polly Dunbar had an equally terrific time creating this gloriously dotty, thoroughly upbeat celebration of being yourself- au naturel - so to speak. Joyce's - or should that be Plunkett's narrative - is pure pleasure to read aloud." * Red Reading Hub * "A rollicking, read-aloud romp about being yourself and celebrating individuality." -- Fiona Noble * The Bookseller *
