Of all the nut-crackers in the world, Rodney is the best! But there is one nut that Rodney cannot open. He tries everything he can think of: a hammer, an elephant, even a fright . . . but the nut stays shut.

Mike Henson (Author, Illustrator) Mike Henson grew up in South Africa and from an early age always loved to draw. He went into study Visual Communication and has been working in children's publishing almost ever since. He now lives by the sea in Hampshire, England, with his wife and two children, who provide him with daily inspiration. Mike enjoys writing songs and children's stories, creating mess in the kitchen and making robots out of cardboard boxes.
