When a bird narrowly escapes the clutches of a hungry cat, a nearby crab admires his graceful, carefree ability to fly. But it turns out the bird has always wished he had claws like a crab. And just like that, they team up. They recruit a turtle for swimming and a bear for intimidating, and pretty soon, the team has expanded to include everyone who's ever wanted someone else's special trait. Adam Rex is an author, illustrator, and author-illustrator known for his books including Goodnight, Darth Vader; The Legend of Rock, Paper, Scissors; and Nothing Rhymes with Orange. He lives in Tucson, Arizona, and likes animals, spacemen, Mexican food, Ethiopian food, monsters, puppets, comic books, 19th Century art, skeletons, bugs, and robots. Laura Park is a cartoonist, illustrator, and enthusiastic baker originally from Chicago, now living in France.
