Description
The sign on the enclosure wall read: GREEPERS. But perhaps it would have been more accurate if it had said: HEAPS OF GREEPERS. And maybe there should have been a second sign that said: AND THEY'RE FLYING STRAIGHT FOR YOU.'A dead grandpa.A secret alien zoo.And only two kids to save all its creatures from a terrible fate. What could possibly go wrong?Funny, mysterious and a little bit rude; hold on to your hippos and look inside The Alien Zoo!
Author Biography
Adrian Beck is a part-time author, part-time TV producer and full-time doting dad. He writes funny, action-packed stories for kids and enjoys sharing his passion for writing and creativity through regular appearances at schools and festivals. He's the author of the bestselling KICK IT TO NICK series, a collaboration with Shane Crawford. He writes and illustrates the SOCCERUFUS series with former Socceroo, Archie Thompson. And he has also written DALE in the award-winning STUFF HAPPENS series; the story of a redhead who plots revenge. Adrian is currently the Executive Producer of the Nine Network's children's program, Kids' WB. He has worked on shows such as Prank Patrol, Carols by Candlelight, The Logie Awards, Postcards and Who Wants to be a Millionaire. Adrian lives in Melbourne with his young family and knows all the lyrics to Frozen. Heath McKenzie lives and works in Melbourne, Australia, and has illustrated many books for children (most recently DO NOT OPEN THIS BOOK by Andy Lee and Tim Cahill's TINY TIMMY series). When he's not drawing, Heath is busy helping to raise a little family with his lovely wife, collecting unnecessary masses of toys, books and DVDs, indulging in a spot of Doctor Who and attempting ambitious culinary feats in the kitchen. He also enjoys possibly a bit too much tea.
