Author Biography
Seaerra Miller grew up in a small town in Wyoming where she spent her days picking dandelions and watching old westerns from her grandma's small movie collection. In 2015 she moved to Portland, Oregon to study art at the Pacific Northwest College of art and Design. Since graduating in the spring of 2017 she has worked for several publications and organisations such as Cricket Media, Apartment Therapy, Oni Press and Snap Chat. ReviewsMason Mooney: Paranormal Investigator series is a fun romp that takes the much mined story seam of young adventurers toying with the supernatural and spins it off into its own quirkily eccentric direction. -- Andy Oliver * Broken Frontier * Spooky, kooky blast of graphic novel brilliance -- Joanne Owen * LoveReading4Kids * There's a haunted house, a town full of phenomena to investigate, and action-packed twisted tales to explore for the bravest of kids. -- Cockatoocomics on Instagram This graphic novel with its underlying theme of sibling jealousy, the combination of weird characters, lurid art, and an accursed setting, make for a decidedly spooky read. * Red Reading Hub * Gorgeously illustrated * @eenalol on Twitter * Mason Mooney is a great fit for middle-schoolers who appreciate over-the-top characters and cheeky, fourth-wall-breaking narrators that let them feel they're in on the joke. * Booklist * Dark, spooky and hilarious graphic novel. * Library Girl and Book Boy * Filled with quips and humour. It's funny. It's dark. It's gorgeously illustrated! * A Little But a Lot *
