Having grown up living in a caravan with no electricity, one of Tom's special skills is the ability to read by gas lamp! He is also, of course, particularly talented at writing and illustrating picture books. He has found great success with his Big Bright Feelings series of picture books that deal with emotional intelligence (Perfectly Norman, Ruby's Worry, Ravi's Roar and Meesha Makes Friends). Dream Big, Little Mole! is his ninth book for Bloomsbury. As a child, she loved drawing and tried her best to draw like Beatrix Potter. She went on to study Illustration for Children's Publishing at the North East Wales School of Art and Design and has since illustrated over 15 books for children. The Tail of the Whale (written by Ellie Patterson) was shortlisted for the BookTrust Early Years Award. Christine loves books, folk art, old things, wildlife watching and walks in the countryside. She lives at the Post Office and General Store which she helps run with her partner in a lovely little village in Staffordshire, UK.
