Caroline and her family have just moved to Meadowview Street. Where's the meadow Where's the view Meadowview Street has neither. Only cookie-cutter suburban houses and neat grass lawns stretching as far as the eye can see. One day, Caroline spots a small wildflower growing in the otherwise pristine yard. She asks her father to mow around it. She protects it with a string fence. Other flowers and plants start to grow. Then Caroline and her parents plant a tree. They dig a pond. They put up a birdhouse. Birds, butterflies, insects, and animals drop in, and Caroline's yard becomes a habitat. Soon the neighbors follow suit. What a meadow!
