Author Biography
Angelika is based in South London. She always loved drawing and her earliest memory is drawing with her dad. She was obsessed with Beatrix Potter with her beautiful illustrations of cute fluffy bunnies and animals as a child. Everywhere she goes she carries around a sketchbook and jots down every idea that comes to my head. She loves the hustle and bustle of the city and stopping off at small coffee shops, where she gathers most inspiration from the people and atmosphere. Angelika loves creating cute, fun characters.
ReviewsPreschool. This playful, colorful, cutesy board book introduces the biblical story: 'Noah gathered animals, as God told him to do. He built a boat and led them there, marching two by two.' Then, each page features a pair of adorable cartoon animals: anteater, bear, cat, dog, elephant, etc. The text concludes: 'God sent rain both night and day, and then a rainbow bright. God loved Noah and the world. Now everything was right.' An oversimplification to say the least, but this is very typical of Noah's Ark books for this audience. Purchase only where bible story board books are in demand. --Rachel Kamin * Association of Jewish Libraries (AJL) Reviews *
