Description
With lots to see and do in the Busy Bookshop, young children can join in by pushing, pulling and turning the tabs to bring the shop to life. Spin the wheel to change the pictures in a book, pull the tab to make a dinosaur pop up and help the author turn the pages as he reads. Little ones will love playing with this bright and colourful board book with gentle rhyming text and wonderful illustrations by Marion Billet, which is part of the Busy Book series. There's lots more fun to be had out and about with the Busy Books series: Busy Hairdresser, Busy Cafe, and Busy Town.
Author Biography
Marion Billet was born in 1982 in Lyon, France. She studied children's book illustration at the Emile Cohl School. Marion is widely published - around 80 children's books in 11 different countries, including Whizzy Wheels: My First London Bus, My First London Taxi, My First Digger and My First Tractor, as well as Hello London, a push, pull and slide book of London landmarks. Her illustrations have also appeared in magazines, on stationery and toys, and on children's furniture and clothes. Marion now lives in Paris.
ReviewsWith a simple, rhyming text and interesting things to find on every page this is a perfect interactive book for toddlers. * Guardian * Campbell's relaunch earlier this year, with fresh new colours and user-friendly signposting, has worked wonders and this rather lovely introduction to bookshops will be an obvious trade favourite. * The Bookseller *
