Author Biography

Richard Collingridge was born in Hammersmith in London, and studied illustration at UWE before going to live in Paris, where he still lives. He has always enjoyed creating different worlds and has managed to turn it into his job! His acclaimed debut picture book, When It Snows, came out in 2013, followed in 2016 by Lionheart. Tiny Little Rocket is his third book. David Fickling is a children's book editor and publisher based in Oxford. Over the years he has published some extraordinary books, including Goosebumps, Horrible Histories, The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-time by Mark Haddon, The Boy in the Striped Pyjamas by John Boyne and Philip Pullman's His Dark Materials series.
