Reviews

"An unusual story that explores friendship and gifts - highly suitable for one to five year-olds - wih the quality and ideas to be enjoyed over many readings." * IBBY Link * "For all children looking for friendship wherever they may be." -- Chitra Soundar "Very beautiful." * Bookwitch * "This is a book that will be with you forever, we recommend it for all ages of children and adults." * DolphinBooks - the blog * "The picture book can be used as a good way in to a discussion about friendships and morals with children in KS1; it may be a useful book for PSHE lessons to focus on relationships. There are also some beautiful illustrations which enhance the story." * The Reading Zone * "A truly magical tale that brought a tear to my eye; how much a small kindness means and how little we know about the way a small gesture can bring happiness to one we have never met. Delicate illustrations accompany the story to perfection." * Parents in Touch * "This is such a lovely book about the joy of both giving and receiving gifts and the pleasure in sharing those gifts with other." * The Reading Zone * "One of the most beautiful picture books of the year." * The Bookseller * "A story with quiet magic and beauty." * Publishers Weekly Starred Review * "Truly heart-warming." * Books for Keeps Five Star Review *
