Description
Goodnight Moon meets Big Red Barn in this gently humorous counting read-aloud, perfect for spring! It's time for bed, then five fuzzy chicks race out of the coop. But as they visit each animal on the farm, the chicks can't help but fall asleep one by one-the dog is so snuggly and the hay is so comfy! Before long, the sleeping chicks are scattered all over the farm! What will Mama Hen do? With irresistible artwork, Five Fuzzy Chicks is a sweet spin on the bedtime story incorporating rhyme and counting.

ReviewsThe rhyming text has a wonderful poetic cadence, and the soothing, full-bleed pencil illustrations featuring friendly farm animals envelop readers in a visual hug...This is a delightful storytime or bedtime read-aloud. Highly recommended. -- School Library Journal Praise for Doris the Bookasaurus: Children who embrace the warm, happy personality of PBS' Barney will eagerly accept smiling Doris, with her pink stegosaurus spikes, and her equally colorful theropod brothers. --Kirkus Reviews
