She lives in London with her husband, the author and artist, John Burningham. Peter Bently went to ten different schools around the world and studied languages at Oxford University. He started writing for children soon after becoming a parent and now lives in Devon, close to the moors and the sea, with his wife, Lucy, and their children Theo (alias King Jack) and Tara.
