Author Biography
Stephanie Blake's passion for writing and illustrating began in childhood when she created books for her brothers and sisters as birthday presents. As a child, she also fell in love with the books of Dr. Seuss, Ludwig Bemelmans, and William Steig. After moving to France, she discovered other writers and artists whose work continued to inspire her stories and drawings. She is the author and illustrator of dozens of highly successful books in France, many of them children's favorites.
Reviews"This would be an excellent book in the `social learning' field, for autistic children who often have difficulty interpreting facial expressions, and will also be great for kids of 2-5 years. It is a funny, visually appealing book!" -- Grafton 103.1FM (AU) " Helping a child laugh about their own fussy eating and fickleness helps address the big emotions that come with these situations." -- Booksellers (NZ) "Has taken first place as our favourite bunny book. . Parents of toddlers and young children will think that Stephanie Blake has been spying on them at meal times. . A very clever, simple story sure to delight the fussiest of children." -- Tall, Short, Tiny and a Pickle (NZ) "This would be an excellent book in the `social learning' field, for autistic children who often have difficulty interpreting facial expressions, and will also be great for kids of 2-5 years.
