Come on an alphabet adventure with Duck in this brilliantly funny story from the bestselling creator of Hugless Douglas. Duck is a magician. Abracadabra! He can conjure up a bunny, a chicken and even the king of the jungle. But can he make a dragon disappear? David Melling is one of the UK's best-loved author-illustrators and his stories combine brilliantly imaginative illustrations and unforgettable characters. 'A new Hugless Douglas book is always a cause for celebration.' Daily Mail

ReviewsThe giggles will come faster and faster as children enjoy this hilarious picture book from a wonderful storyteller. * Parents In Touch * Full of Melling's usual flare. Duck is endearing, with his cape and fez and fake moustache. All the pictures are colourful, and clearly drawn...Perfect for a group read-aloud at nurseries, or just for a funny afternoon snuggle on the sofa. * The Bookbag * Bursting with subtle humour and oozing with awesome touches and delectable details, this is genius at work. The whole thing's as pretty near perfect as anyone could imagine and it's absolutely bound to be demanded again and again (that's my experience anyway). * Red Reading Hub * As well as being a marvellously funny read, this cunning work also functions as an innovative early literacy resource ... Splendidly silly and warmly affectionate illustrations ensure that every page is a pleasure to look at * Teach Early Years * D is For Duck! is full of character and very funny illustrations ... brilliant for those just learning to read * Daily Post (Wales * Just as loveable an ABC picture book that you'd expect from Hugless Douglas's Dad * Bookwitch *
