Author Biography
Insha Fitzpatrick is a New Jersey-based writer and editor. She's the founder of DIS/MEMBER, a horror genre website, and co-writer of middle-grade graphic novel series Oh My Gods! (Etch, 2021). Please talk to her about spooky movies, true crime, or Rod Serling's Twilight Zone. Annabelle "Abelle" Hayford is a Ghanaian-American illustrator, character designer, and color stylist. Abelle's current body of work consists of diverse characters and narratives, good vibes, and a lot of pastel colors. Their past clients include Warner Bros., Cartoon Network, Nickelodeon, Disney TVA, New York Times, Penguin Random House, Simon & Schuster, and The New Yorker. Social media has played a huge role in Abelle's artistic growth, and they use their social media to share their art with others while also promoting other marginalized artists. In this effort, Abelle organized #DrawingwhileBlack, a viral hashtag to celebrate and promote Black artists around the world!
