Description
Michael Moran has rediscovered the power of Miracleman, but unbeknownst to him, Dr. Emil Gargunza, the man behind Project Zarathustra, has set in motion plans decades in the making. In The Red King Syndrome, Gargunza's intentions for Miracleman's wife and unborn child set the stage for a confrontation between creator and creation. The origins of Gargunza and Zarathustra will be revealed, and life and death will be decided deep in the jungles of Paraguay.
Author Biography
British-born artist Alan Davis took off like a rocket after his humble beginnings at Marvel U.K.. Continuing the collaboration with Alan Moore that saw Captain Britain become an enduring critical and fan favourite, Artist John Ridgeway began his career in the 1970's - providing artwork for Commando War Stories, Doctor Who, and Famous Five, as well as taking part in Warrior Magazine's revival. Writer/illustrator Chuck Austen got his start in 1983, providing artwork for The Badger, and Miracleman soon after. He went on to write and illustrate Marvel's U.S. War Machine, as well as a follow up series. Writer/illustrator Rick Veitch made his debut with the independent horror parody comic Two Fisted Zombie in 1972. During the 1980's he had a controversial run on DC's SwampThing, and wrote and illustrated comics for Marvel's Epic line.
