Guy Adams lives in Spain, surrounded by rescue animals. Some of them are his family. He isn't a spy, but he is a boy, so naturally he's always dreamed of being one. If this is to be the final case for Shining and co, then at least they're going out on a high. Lord knows there aren't a lot of trilogies that are this consistently good.
