Reviews

Billy's really been there and done it. There's no substitute for experience -- Sean Penn The characters are tough and the writing is tougher. A headsmashing assault of a thriller from a former SAS agent who has seen it all and done it all * Sun * Billingham's service as a former SAS officer brings an extra layer of verisimilitude * Financial Times * Bold, breathless and fiercely exciting. I read it in one sitting and by the end felt as if I'd travelled the globe and got to know a gritty, believable group of characters. A terrific page-turner. -- B.P. Walter, author of The Dinner Guest
