Description
Undersheriff Estelle Reyes-Guzman is settling down to a quiet evening with her family, until her doctor husband gets a call. Retired Chief-of-police Eduardo Martinez is at a nearby motel, having pains. Doctor Guzman responds, and then Estelle gets a call herself. She arrives at the motel parking lot to find it's turned into the scene of a crime.
Author Biography
Steven F. Havill lives with his wife of more than forty years, Kathleen, in New Mexico. He is the author of more than twenty novels, taught secondary schools for 25 years, and recently earned an AAS degree in gunsmithing.
