Description
Axis is a selection of Cilla McQueen's poems from the past twenty years, drawn from five volumes of her published work: Homing In , Anti Gravity , Wild Sweets , Benzina , and Crik'ey . The poems are interspersed with her drawings and Cilla's musical scores are also included.
Author Biography
Cilla McQueen was the New Zealand Poet Laureate 200911. She has published 14 volumes of poetry and has won the New Zealand Book Award for Poetry three times. Her work has been extensively anthologised. Cillas most recent publication was Edwins Egg and other poetic novellas (OUP, 2014).
