Description
Pregnancy is a very special time in a woman's life - a time to nest and nurture. It is also a time when many mothers-to-be will take up knitting, inspired by the desire to create something special for their newborn child. In Baby Bloom, Erika Knight has created a range of exquisite designs for mothers and their new arrivals. From feminine sweaters, luxurious wraps and lacy cardigans for mums, to a merino wool papoose and funky embroidered cardigans for babies. The designs for mothers-to-be are comfortable, practical, and even sexy, and as easy to knit as they are to wear. Likewise, the projects for babies are soft and desirable, with the accent on comfort. Patterns are grouped by mood, either 'Comfortable', 'Nostalgic', 'Eclectic', or 'Nocturnal'. All the patterns and instructions are fully illustrated and explained so that each project is easily accessible for beginner knitters.
