Author Biography

Lisa has appeared on the Alan Titchmarsh Show on ITV, and Kirstie Allsopp's Channel 4 show Kirstie's Vintage Home. Lisa Comfort runs Sew Over It, a sewing paradise and cafe where she teaches and shares her passion for stitchery over a cup of tea and homemade cake. You can take part in one of her popular classes, get advice or just drop in and sew. Sewing since the age of nine, Lisa gained formal training at the London College of Fashion before working with Bruce Oldfield and Philippa Lepley. She has sew everything under the sun, from couture bridal gowns to Mad Men-inspired dresses.
