Author Biography

Danica Davidson a writer for MTV and author of the Minecraft novels Escape from the Overworld and Attack on the Overworld. A longtime manga fan, her work on manga has been published by MTV, CNN, The Onion, Otaku USA, Publishers Weekly, Booklist, Anime News Network and about twenty other places. She has both written the English adaptation and worked on the editing process for manga published in Sturgis, Michigan. Melanie Westin is an artist and longtime manga fan who worked at VIZ Media, America's largest manga publisher. She learned how to draw manga from guide books and self-study. She has been drawing for over ten years. She lives in San Francisco, California.
