Over the past 15 years, photographer Autumn de Wilde and Beck Hansen's friendship and collaboration have yielded a body of work every bit as playful, innovative, and lyrical as his music. This beautifully designed volume, created in collaboration with Beck himself collects the best of these amazing photographs, including images documenting the recording of his seminal album "Mutations"; gorgeous photo sessions informed by surrealism, 'Dada, Op Art', and other creative tangents; and, more intimate portraits.

Reviews

"Enjoying unrestricted access to a rising star, de Wilde has chronicled Beck's career and drawn from that collection for this book. Inserted into the flow of photographs are a series of conversations between the de Wilde and Beck on a wide range of topics. Touching on his early performances, approach to his music, photo sessions, the book covers a lot of ground. Together it offers a closer look at one of the most interesting performers on the scene today." -North Shore News "Autumn de Wilde has photographed just about every L.A. Musician of the past decade. Her friendship with Beck has yielded some of the most insightful pictures of the multifarious musician. With excerpts from conversations between Beck and de Wilde, this is a thorough portrait (pun intended) of the artist and her muse." Los Angeles magazine
