Author Biography

Susan M. Winchip, LEED AP, is a Professor Emeritus of Interior and Environmental Design in the Department of Family and Consumer Sciences at Illinois State University. She has over 20 years of experience designing residential, corporate, and institutional interiors with specialties in lighting, history of interiors/architecture, green design, and human-centered design.
