Author Biography

Richard Meier began his career in the early 1960s designing private residential projects whose elegant modernist style and white facades have become icons of modern architecture. Since that time, his international practice has included museums, courthouses, city halls and corporate headquarters, and has received numerous awards, including the Pritzker Prize for Architecture and the Gold Medal of the American Institute of Architects. Kenneth Frampton is the author of numerous volumes, essays, and articles of architectural criticism and theory. Peter Eisenman is an internationally recognized and award-winning architect and educator.
